StoreTwin copies products and inventory one way, from a source store to your other stores - and then keeps checking, field by field, that the copies still match. When they stop matching, you get a report that names the product and the field, not a green checkmark.
The problem with sync apps
Sync is easy on day one and quietly wrong on day ninety. A webhook is missed, an edit lands in the wrong store, a variant is renamed - and nobody notices until a customer orders something you do not have. Most apps cannot tell you that, because after copying they never compare the two stores again.
How StoreTwin is different
The audit is the product. Every hour it re-checks what changed; every night it compares the complete catalogue of both stores field by field and lists every difference. Here "in sync" is a verified fact, not a hope.
It never deletes. Anything that exists only in the destination store is reported and left alone.
Nothing is copied until you say so twice. A new connection starts read-only. You see what will match, what will be created and what needs a human decision - and only then allow changes and start the sync.
What it syncs
Products (title, description, status, tags, options, metafields, images on creation), variants (SKU, barcode, options, weight) and available inventory mapped per location. Price is off by default - expansion stores usually sell in different currencies. Orders and customers are never read: the app does not request access to them.
Pricing
Plans differ by one number: how many products you sync. Free Audit ($0) audits a catalogue of any size - including one another app is syncing - and syncs 25 products you pick yourself. Standard ($29/month) covers 1,000 synced products, Pro ($49/month) has no limit. Everything else is identical on every paid plan: no feature tiers, no add-ons, one price per pair of stores.
